Tantor XData MDB on Baikal-S Processor Passes Load Test with Simultaneous Operation of 20,000 "1C" Users

IT-Expertise and Tantor Labs conducted a comprehensive load test of the "1C:ERP Enterprise Management" system on a Tantor XData 2B database machine running on Russian Baikal-S processors and using the Tantor Postgres DBMS.

As part of the experiment, the work of 20,000 simultaneous users performing typical operations, including sales, procurement, production, accounting, and personnel management processes, was simulated.

The testing cluster was deployed on a Tantor XData 2B database machine. The load was simulated by 18 servers, all systems participating in the testing operated under the Astra Linux OS. During the tests, continuous monitoring of the performance and condition of the equipment was carried out, and an integrated performance assessment was also carried out using the international APDEX methodology.

The results of the load testing confirmed the stability of the complex under high-load operation. At peak loads, the system demonstrated stable operation without failures or critical slowdowns. The average execution time of key operations, such as posting documents, opening forms, and printing reports, was within the target range of 1 to 3 seconds.

The integrated APDEX indicator was 0.846, which, taking into account the error, corresponds to the "Good" level. The load on the processors of application servers and DBMS did not exceed 70%. During the tests, no critical errors were recorded at the level of the "1C" cluster or the database management system.

Tantor Labs emphasized:

Based on the test results, the readiness of the domestic hardware and software complex Tantor XData 2B on the Baikal-S processor for industrial use in large-scale corporate and government information systems has been confirmed.
