The updates are aimed at increasing performance, flexibility of configuration, and resource isolation for companies whose business tasks require stable and high computing power.
Selectel has introduced a large-scale update to its proprietary cloud platform, increasing its performance and functionality. Now, in the Selectel control panel, you can order virtual machines with dedicated cores, where each virtual core of the server is assigned to the threads of specific physical processor cores.
It is also possible to configure resource placement on a single NUMA node, which reduces latency when working with memory by 20–50%. A new option has emerged to rent a virtual machine the size of a host, where all server resources are allocated to only one client. This ensures maximum performance and control over resources.
Selectel has also launched a new line of cloud servers with a network bandwidth of 10 Gbps. The resource limits per virtual machine have been arbitrarily increased to 232 vCPUs, 900 GB of RAM, and a local disk of up to 2TB.
