Solar Group, specializing in integrated cybersecurity, has introduced a free plan within its Solar Space cloud cyber protection platform.
The offer is aimed at small websites of small and medium-sized businesses, bloggers, and self-employed entrepreneurs with a traffic of no more than 5,000 users per month.
Unlike standard plans with comprehensive protection against several types of threats, the free plan specifically addresses DDoS attacks on websites with low traffic. The volume of traffic cleaned is limited to 1 Mbit/sec. Solar explained:
The service will allow you to repel malicious traffic, ensure round-the-clock operation of your online resource, and as a result, avoid reputational and financial losses. Connection takes 20 minutes, the protection process is fully automated and does not require website owners to have skills in information security.
Free protection can be connected independently in the platform's personal account – without linking a bank card. As part of the free plan, users will have access to a personal account and a graph with reflected attacks. The subscription can be connected by both individuals and legal entities, as well as individual entrepreneurs and the self-employed.
