In the new release of the Squadus corporate messenger from "MyOffice," integration with the InfoWatch Traffic Monitor DLP system from the Russian developer of information security solutions has been configured to protect confidential information from leaks and unauthorized access.
InfoWatch Traffic Monitor is capable of monitoring all messages and files that employees exchange in Squadus, analyzing the information contained within them, and automatically deciding whether it is permissible to send them.
If a potential threat is detected, sending will be blocked, and the information security service will receive a notification about a possible incident. Monitoring is performed in real time. Messages and files are sent to the DLP system even if the network connection is unstable.
The integration is configured in the Squadus 1.10 release. To use the corporate messenger and DLP system together, you must install and configure Traffic Monitor 7.12.1 or later. Interaction occurs via the ICAP protocol. The administrator can configure the operating parameters of InfoWatch Traffic Monitor: enable and disable integration, specify the maximum number of connections and the maximum file size for sending to the system, set the maximum response time from the DLP system, and the maximum number of attempts to resend the message. Only messages and files that are located and sent directly in Squadus are sent to InfoWatch Traffic Monitor.
