The update is focused on active users of the spreadsheet editor — it offers several significant improvements at once.
Now in the editor, you can manage page breaks, customize print areas, and format the table without compromising data integrity. Using the corresponding button in the "Layout" tab, you can add page breaks between rows, move them, and delete them. Print preview is also available, taking into account the set breaks.
The mechanism for building a chart based on a pivot table has been improved: now it is correctly updated after making changes to the source data. In addition, it became possible to expand or collapse a pivot table or a diagram based on it to any level of data detail, and for all levels in one operation.
Optimized work with data filters. Thus, for date filters, grouping by years, quarters and months is implemented in the drop-down menu. Autocompletion also appeared when dragging for days of the week and months.
The analytical capabilities of the editor have been expanded: "what if" analysis has become available. With its help, you can see how changes in the values of input data affect the final result. Among other things, it became possible to copy a sheet from one text editor book to another via the context menu.
The text editor "R7 Office" has acquired the ability to preview the contents of *.txt files with the selection of encoding when opening. In all editors on the side settings panel in the "Shape Options" section, not only solid fill, but also gradient became available for object contours.
