According to the press service, this has helped to prevent massive attacks by competitors on 6.6 thousand order pick-up points. Special emphasis is placed on the protection of rural and small pick-up points.

As a result, restrictions have been applied to more than 26,000 accounts involved in unfair activities. In addition, the movement of almost 4.5 million goods through fictitious schemes has been stopped without harm to partners.

Wildberries emphasized that the number of complaints from pick-up points about such violations has decreased by 2.5 times in recent months. Igor Somov, Head of Trust & Safety at Wildberries and Russ, explained:

Fake orders created to artificially overload pick-up points threaten not only the business of bona fide partners, but also the infrastructure of the entire company. In response, we are implementing AI algorithms and promptly blocking the accounts of malicious users. When a pick-up point is overloaded with fake orders, both partners and end customers suffer, so our task is to filter out such threats as quickly as possible, even before the delivery stage.
