LG Electronics has secured several positions in various categories of the TOP-COMM 2025 rating of the best directors and departments for corporate communications and corporate relations in Russia, including two second places in the rating of "Best Organizations in the Field of Corporate Communications and Corporate Relations in Russia," as well as "Best Directors and Departments for Corporate Communications and Corporate Relations in Russia."
The first place in the category "For the most effective work in the field of external communications of the corporation in Russia" was awarded to Tatiana Shakhnes, Senior PR) ESG Director at LG. In the nomination "Best Department in the Field of Corporate Relations in Russia," LG received fifth place.
The prerequisites for receiving well-deserved recognition were the company's active communication program in the field of social, cultural, and environmental initiatives.
For example, earlier at the press conference "Donor Code. Defenders of the Fatherland," organized by the National Health Development Fund in conjunction with the Coordination Council under the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation for Blood and Bone Marrow Donation, the FMBA of Russia, and the Russian Red Cross, LG Electronics was awarded a diploma for achievements in the development of blood donation, and in April the company held its 117th LG Donor Day. It took place on the eve of National Donor Day with the participation of real heroes: Olympic figure skating champion Roman Kostomarov and his wife, world ice dancing champion Oksana Domnina. It is thanks to such people that donors of different ages see the special importance of family support and the special contribution of the medical community. One of the first, setting an example for employees and students who joined LG, Mr. Youngnam Ro, President of LG in Russia/CIS, donated blood for the seventh time.
Also, the jury of the rating took into account the "Baltic Educational Marathon: Mentoring, Art, Volunteering," which included lectures for students of Pskov State University, St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI", Kaliningrad Lyceum No. 23, BFU named after I. Kant, as well as "Literary Afternoon" at the Mariinsky Theater. Moreover, since 2022, the mentoring marathon from LG has already covered more than 50 educational clusters and 250 educational events.
In addition, LG held a series of environmental and educational initiatives timed to coincide with World Environment Day. Representatives of the plant and office of the company took part in cleaning and landscaping the territory of the Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya Museum, organized a swap event for exchanging clothes, books and accessories, giving things a second life, carried out an action to collect and further recycle electronic waste, and also held an educational event for students of "Boarding School No. 1 for the Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind" aimed at professional self-determination and raising the level of environmental awareness among young people.
