Russian IT vendor Inferit, part of the Softline Group, is expanding its line of user devices: the new Inferit Compact-2 14" laptop is now available. This lightweight 14-inch model is designed for users working in a hybrid format — on the road, in the office, and at home.
This is an improved version of the Inferit Compact model, which appeared on the market a year ago. It features more powerful Intel Core i5-1250P/i7-1280P processors (instead of i5-1240P), and the updated power supply is now more powerful and lighter. A Caps Lock LED indicator has also been added.
The device weighs only 1.2 kg and is 17 mm thick. The case is made of magnesium, aluminum, and plastic. The battery has a capacity of 58.3 Wh, and the laptop can work for at least 6 hours without recharging. The 14-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels (WUXGA) has a matte finish that minimizes glare. The opening angle is up to 180°. The laptop is also equipped with 16 GB of DDR4 RAM with the possibility of expansion up to 32 GB and a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Built-in Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 modules are provided, and the port set includes Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2, microSD. For security, there is a fingerprint sensor and a TPM 2.0 module.
Inferit Compact-2 14" comes with pre-installed Windows 10/11, Linux, or the domestic OS "MCBCфера ARM" 9, included in the Ministry of Digital Development's register.
