«Базис» и Татарстан создадут облачную инфраструктуру для госсервисов и бизнеса республики

The developer of infrastructure software "Basis", "Technopark in the field of high technologies "IT-park"" and the Center for Information Technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan announced the beginning of a partnership to create a secure cloud IT infrastructure and pilot domestic virtualization systems in the contour of key government services and large businesses of the republic.

The project covers several areas. First of all, it is about interaction to create a secure sovereign cloud digital infrastructure for GIS e-government, Public Services based on CIT RT and IT-park, as well as key systems of commercial structures in the region. For this purpose, an import-independent "Basis" ecosystem will be deployed in the IT-park data center. The use of software products of this vendor, including the Basis Dynamix platform, will ensure fault tolerance, centralized management and technological independence from foreign solutions.

A separate direction of cooperation will be the development of a secure software development service for IT-park residents. The new tool will be built on the basis of the domestic DevOps pipeline Basis Digital Energy - it will increase the resistance of applications to cyber threats and speed up the release of updates.

Special attention will be paid to ensuring the continuity of remote work: based on the VDI platform of the vendor Basis Workplace, a secure infrastructure of virtual desktops will be deployed in the republic.

As part of the partnership, work is also planned to create training grounds at the leading colleges and universities of the republic to train specialists in the field of virtualization and cloud technologies. The joint development of the educational track will allow to form a personnel reserve of engineers capable of deploying and supporting IT systems both within the region and beyond.
