The XIII Startup Village technology conference opened in Skolkovo Central Park on May 29, 2025. The event was attended by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Skolkovo Foundation.
The opening ceremony was attended by Viktor Vekselberg, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Skoltech, Igor Shuvalov, Chairman of VEB.RF, and Sergei Perov, Chairman of the Board of the Skolkovo Foundation.
Dmitry Medvedev noted that the conference is being held for the 13th time, emphasizing that despite changes in the world, interest in technological developments and entrepreneurship remains.
Igor Shuvalov spoke about the work of the development institutions of the VEB group and Skolkovo as a platform for uniting scientific potential and resources of industrial partners. He announced plans to strengthen support for startups in finding clients and structuring financing.
Viktor Vekselberg presented data on the work of Skoltech, noting the competition of about one hundred people per place upon admission. He also outlined the need to move from technological sovereignty to leadership.
Sergei Perov announced the international scale of the conference: more than 30 countries and over 100 companies with their own developments are participating.
The conference traditionally serves as a platform for interaction between innovators, entrepreneurs, investors and government representatives. In 2025, the event is held under the slogan "Become a pioneer!" and is part of Moscow Entrepreneurship Week.
The organizers are the Skolkovo Foundation with the support of the Government of Moscow and VEB.RF. The conference is held in Skolkovo Central Park on May 29-30, 2025.
