SBK, the developer of the unified communication platform CommuniGate Pro, has released version 6.5.1, aimed at improving the stability, functionality, and information security of the product. The release addresses potential vulnerabilities discovered by both internal company specialists and independent experts.
CommuniGate Pro remains one of the leading platforms for corporate communications, and protecting customer data is a key focus for developers. SBK collaborates with regulators, including the FSTEC of Russia, as well as partners and customers.
During testing and based on reports from independent researchers, vulnerabilities were discovered in certain components of the system. Although the exploitation of these vulnerabilities in practice is unlikely due to the complex implementation conditions, the developers promptly eliminated them. A complete list of the resolved issues will be published on the FSTEC of Russia website by the end of the month.
Alexander Buravtsov, Information Security Director at CommuniGate Pro, noted:
«Despite the fact that the identified vulnerabilities are difficult to use in real attacks, we consider it critical to eliminate such risks proactively. We recommend that all customers update to CommuniGate Pro 6.5.1 to ensure the maximum level of protection.»
The current version of CommuniGate Pro 6.5.1 is now available for free download on the official website.
SBK adheres to a policy of transparency in cybersecurity matters: all corrected vulnerabilities are registered in the Vulnerability Data Bank of the FSTEC of Russia.
