The team of Russia's largest online trading platform Wildberries has reduced the commission for sellers on some popular products ahead of the start of the summer season by more than 6 times. This was reported by the press service of the united company Wildberries and Russ.
For sellers delivering orders on their own (the "Showcase" sales model), the commission will be reduced from 18.5% to 3% for the following categories:
- Verandas and terraces,
- Prefabricated change houses,
- Log cabins,
- Outdoor prefabricated toilets,
- Prefabricated garages,
- Prefabricated houses and bathhouses,
- Septic tanks.
In addition, the commission for the sale of garden tractors and riders will be reduced from 9.5% to 3%. As a reminder, "Showcase" is a sales model on Wildberries, in which sellers store goods in their own warehouse and deliver them to customers on their own. In this scenario, Wildberries is presented as a showcase for partners' products.
