VimpelCom operator (Beeline brand) has started closed testing of Beeline Cloud 2.0. The platform is currently undergoing final configuration. In the near future, it is planned to launch the platform for commercial operation and provide customers with access to a full-fledged cloud stack built on modern principles.
Beeline Cloud 2.0 includes a key component of its own development — VEGA, an intelligent orchestrator for managing hybrid IT infrastructure. The company said:
VEGA is the "brain" of Beeline Cloud 2.0, combining various virtualization environments (OpenStack, VMware, and others) into a single managed platform. This allows you to most effectively use expensive and scarce infrastructure, while providing cloud services in a format accessible not only to IT engineers, but also to product teams, architects and developers.
Beeline Cloud 2.0 retains the main original Beeline Cloud platform, including a high level of cybersecurity, compliance with Russian security standards and a focus on customer needs.
What Beeline Cloud 2.0 offers:
- unified multi-virtualization management via VEGA orchestrator;
- access to IaaS and PaaS services (virtual machines, databases, Kubernetes, DevOps tools, etc.);
- optimization of infrastructure resources and cost reduction;
- fast launch and scaling of products through self-service tools;
- readiness for the implementation of GenAI and modern approaches to development;
- corporate-level cybersecurity in compliance with Russian standards.
