The "Telemost" service in the Yandex 360 universal set of services for work has been updated. Now, corporate clients don't have to spend time compiling "minutes" – summaries of what was agreed upon during the video meeting.
"Telemost" will transcribe everything said during the video meeting and create a summary. The transcription is performed by speech recognition technology, and the summarization, that is, a brief retelling, is handled by the YandexGPT neural network.
To enable the function, simply start the meeting and press the button with two asterisks – then all participants will see that the conversation is being recorded. When the meeting ends, "Telemost" will prepare a transcript and summary. The transcript includes timestamps, or time codes – you can track who said what and when. The summary is a brief retelling of the conversation with key conclusions on each topic. The transcript and summary will be sent to the organizer or all participants of the meeting – depending on the settings.
The summarizing and transcription function is available to corporate clients of "Telemost" as part of the new Yandex 360 tariffs. They became effective for small and medium-sized businesses on April 15, and large organizations will be able to switch to them from May 26, 2025.
