The AVERES modular equipment line from the EKF brand has been expanded with devices featuring new characteristics. The standard B, C, and D series have been supplemented with circuit breakers with L and K characteristics. These have been added to the AV-6, AV-10, AV-6DC, and AV-10DC series.
Circuit breakers with the L characteristic are designed to protect circuits with inductive and resistive loads with low inrush currents; the K marking indicates protection of lines with inductive loads and high inrush currents. The new circuit breakers protect industrial equipment, effectively working with both direct and alternating current.
The new products are equipped with an instant switching mechanism. The rated current range is from 1 A to 63 A.
The robust housing of the circuit breakers has 9 rivets and a cast front panel. The contact position indicator is covered with a transparent insert. Circuit breakers can be connected using PIN and FORK busbars, from both the top and bottom. The terminals are equipped with protective shutters.
Most importantly, there is the possibility of expanding functionality with additional devices (universal with the updated PROXIMA line) for both direct and alternating current.
