Наталья СЕРГУНИНА: «В Москве впервые пройдет международный форум «Культура. Медиа. Цифра»

The first international forum "Culture. Media. Digital" will be held in Moscow on November 13 and 14. It will bring together representatives of creative industries and other professionals from different countries — heads of major media holdings and online cinemas, producers, directors, actors, employees of mass media and technology companies. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Natalia Sergunina.

"The conference will bring together experts from Russia, Brazil, China, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Serbia and other countries. They will discuss the economic potential of the creative sector and possible cooperation programs," said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

The honorary chairman of the forum is the famous film director Emir Kusturica. Guests can expect business sessions, lectures and master classes by leading specialists. For example, participants will be able to listen to a speech by the world-famous director and screenwriter Oliver Stone. Topics include the development of new media and the gaming industry, the introduction of artificial intelligence, new types of content and ways to attract audiences. Special attention will be paid to technologies in cinema and support for talents in the industry.

The event will be held on the territory of the Moskino film factory.

The Russian capital is becoming one of the world's centers for strengthening international cooperation. Thus, in October, the Moscow BRICS+ Fashion Summit signed a declaration on the creation of a BRICS fashion federation.

The contribution of creative industries to the economy of Moscow in two years has increased by 35 percent. The basis for the growth of the creative sector's economy is personnel. In the last year alone, the number of people employed in the sector has increased by a record 12 percent. The city has created a whole system of support for entrepreneurs. There are a number of tools for them to start their own business, promote products and enter the markets of Russia and other countries.
