Merlion – новый владелец брендов Vitek, Röndell, Maxwell и Coolfort

One of the largest Russian diversified distributors, the Merlion Group, which is actively developing its own brands, has acquired Golder Electronics, a company specializing in the production and sale of household appliances in Russia and the CIS countries. The agreement was signed in Moscow on July 4, 2024.

Merlion Group has been developing the "Home Appliances" direction since 2009, and is one of the largest players in this segment.

According to analysts, the demand for household appliances in Russia is steadily increasing, and the category shows multiple growth in Merlion. The purchase of Golder Electronics is a strategic step towards further strengthening Merlion's position in the market.

Golder Electronics is one of the oldest manufacturers of home appliances, personal care products and premium cookware. The company's portfolio includes the brands VITEK, Röndell, Maxwell and Coolfort.

The further development of these brands will be handled by the combined team of Golder Electronics and Private Labels. Merlion, the division responsible for the group's own brands.
