«Аквариус» произвел первую партию коммутаторов

The Aquarius Group of Companies has produced the first batch of switches at its plant in Tver. The batch includes the Aquarius AQ-N3000 series of corporate-class access switches: Aquarius AQ-N3000-48P4Y2Q, Aquarius AQ-N3000-24P4Y2Q, Aquarius AQ-N3000-48T4Y2Q and Aquarius AQ-N3000-24T4Y2Q. The development work on the devices has been underway since the beginning of last year.

AQ-N3000 is the leading corporate-class access platform in the company's family of network products. It is designed to transform a typical network infrastructure into a hybrid production environment where the workplace is not fixed in space and access to information resources is available from any device.

The company plans to include the devices in the register of telecommunications equipment of Russian origin of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (TORP) in the near future.

Also, as part of the start of production, a technical documentation portal was launched, where users will be able to get all the necessary information about the devices and OS of Aquarius Network Operating System (AqNOS) switches. The portal includes: free access to the latest versions of AqNOS technical documentation, user guides, command references, design guides, SNMP MIB and Zabbix profiles. In addition, the portal will provide access to online demonstrations of equipment and technical support.

As part of the launch of switch production, a webinar is planned for customers and partners on June 26, where everyone will be able to get comprehensive information about all aspects of the new line of network equipment and AqNOS/AqNOS Lite network operating systems.

"The launch of the first batch of switches is an important step not only for the company, but also for the IT market as a whole, as it will meet the high demand of customers for trusted telecommunications equipment for building departmental and corporate communication networks. Our key task as a manufacturer today is to establish production, localizing technological operations in the Russian Federation as much as possible. In this paradigm, we are the first to create a network operating system in Russia with support for a high-performance hardware logic processor (ASIC) from a friendly country," commented Vladimir Stepanov, President of the Aquarius Group of Companies.

The business line for the development and production of telecommunications equipment was introduced last fall. To date, the company's network portfolio includes four series of switches: data center (DC) level, network aggregation, corporate networks and basic access - a total of 12 models.
