iRU presented new computer equipment at the X International Business and Government Forum "Russian Retail Week," held from May 27 to 30, 2024, at the World Trade Center in Moscow.

The forum was attended by over 8,000 participants, including government representatives, leaders of Russian retail, federal and regional retail chains, marketplaces, specialists in logistics, marketing, HR, IT, and representatives of federal and industry media. The event addressed important topics in IT for retail, such as virtualization and process robotization – the transition to cloud solutions, the implementation of AI in new areas: security, analysis of customer behavior, procurement, logistics, and more. Significant attention was given to pressing issues, including distrust of foreign cloud solutions, difficulties in transitioning to domestic platforms, and low activity in developing new domestic solutions for the retail industry. For companies with IT departments, the issue of personnel shortages was raised.

In response to the most pressing problems and needs of the industry, iRU presented new computer equipment: the iRU 310SC personal computer in a compact case iRU 310SC, nettops, the ergonomic all-in-one iRU 23AM, compact and powerful laptops iRU Kalibr, new monitors, and a high-performance server.

Visitors to the iRU brand zone showed great interest in the light and compact nettops of the 310TLCN and 310H6ITF series, which meet the most stringent corporate security standards and serve as a cost-effective solution for remote connection to servers and clouds. The miniature case of the former allows you to take the device with you to work from home or easily disconnect and take the SSD with you, for example, for work trips.

According to feedback from stand visitors, the new iRU ROCK G2212IG4 server was a particularly popular solution, designed for virtualization, neural networks, and machine learning, as well as for various tasks requiring the rapid processing of large amounts of data. The server allows for CPU and GPU intensive calculations with high information processing speed and comes with 2 generations of Intel Xeon Scalable Gen4 and Gen5 processors.

iRU's Lead Business Development Manager, Igor Solkin, told media representatives that iRU has been cooperating with leading retail chains for many years and is highly responsive to the needs of the industry. As proof of this, iRU constantly presents the market with relevant developments, which are often the result of collaboration between iRU experts and industry representatives.

A representative of the integration company FERRUM IT Group, a key partner of iRU, was also present at the exhibition stand. Alexander Kadantsev, Head of Sales at FERRUM IT Group, noted that there is a tectonic shift towards Russian IT solutions in the retail sector. This is because domestic manufacturers have been able to offer the market products whose functionality fully meets the high requirements of customers. Additional advantages include predictable deliveries, as well as technical support from the manufacturer, operating throughout the country.
