The Russian manufacturing company Systeme Electric (formerly Schneider Electric in Russia), a manufacturer of integrated solutions in the field of power distribution and automation, was recognized in the final of the "Best Industrial Design in Russia" award. The new ArtGallery series of wiring devices took 1st place in the "Electronic Device" category in the "People's Choice Award" nomination.
The "Best Industrial Design in Russia" award was established by the Government of Moscow with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Its goal is to popularize industrial design and stimulate its development.
The award ceremony was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov. The People's Choice Award was presented based on the results of a public vote, in which more than 100 thousand people took part.
More than 500 applications from 36 regions of the country were registered for participation in the "Best Industrial Design in Russia" award. Of these, 70 projects were shortlisted.
The ArtGallery series of wiring devices demonstrates a qualitatively new level of production and visual solutions for the Russian market and corresponds to world analogues. It includes sockets and switches developed by the company's specialists, taking into account modern trends and design styles. ArtGallery series products meet Russian and international quality and safety standards.
A thin, aesthetic frame and maximum field for functions allows you to conveniently use the space. The products will be available in a wide color palette of 12 colors and will be able to complement any interior from calm, concise designs to bold, bright interiors.
The high technical level of execution was made possible thanks to the use of the latest equipment and materials. Production will be carried out at the "Potential" plant (Kozmodemyansk, Republic of Mari El). This is the largest full-cycle enterprise, which presents all stages of design and production of wiring devices: from the development and design of parts and mechanisms to assembly and packaging. Today, the level of localization of production in terms of the use of raw materials and components reaches 97%.
"The "Potential" plant is one of the strategic production sites for Systeme Electric and is implementing a large-scale program to expand the range and functions of manufactured products, update the equipment fleet taking into account the latest technologies, automate manual operations and digitalize production. For this, as part of an agreement on comprehensive investment cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Mari El, the company is investing 1.5 billion rubles in the further development of production until 2025," said Alexey Kashaev, General Director of Systeme Electric.
Potential manufactures a wide range of products for civil construction. Every third socket sold in Russia is produced here. Among the popular lines of the enterprise are Atlas Design, Atlas Profi54, Glossa, Blanca, Hit, Etude, W59. The plant has repeatedly received recognition from consumers, becoming a laureate of the all-Russian competition "100 Best Goods of Russia".
