Astra Group, together with Axiom JDK and Haulmont, has released the first version of the independent Russian OpenIDE development environment. This is a free open source tool without proprietary components, designed for professional Java programmers and ready for use in real projects.

Astra Group, Axiom JDK, and Haulmont have announced the creation of the company "Open Development Environment." It will focus on developing and bringing to market the free OpenIDE platform based on the popular open-source IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition. The first release version is already in the final stages of beta testing.
