Devices are designed to operate at temperatures down to -40 °C

D-Link introduced the DIS-210G series of managed industrial switches, designed for networks in industrial, energy, housing and communal services, oil and gas, and metallurgical sectors. The devices are also suitable for video surveillance and traffic management systems.

The lineup includes five models with four, six, eight, or 12 Gigabit Ethernet ports and SFP interfaces. The top-end DIS-210G-12UP version features two ports with PoE++ support according to the 802.3bt standard and up to 60 W per port. The total PoE budget for models with power for connected devices reaches 240 W.

The switches are housed in a metal casing with IP40 protection and passive cooling. They are designed to operate at temperatures from -40 to +75 °C and are DIN rail mountable. Protection against induced voltages up to 6 kV is declared. All models support connection of two independent DC power sources, and some versions can operate from a 220 V AC network via an external adapter.

DIS-210G supports static routing, DHCP, ERPS, STP/RSTP/MSTP, IGMP/MLD Snooping, and network security mechanisms, including ACL, 802.1X, DHCP Snooping, and DoS attack protection. Web interface, CLI, SSH, Telnet, and SNMP are available for management.
