AI agents can answer customer questions, search for information in internal databases, and interact with external services - without writing code

The Yandex B2B Tech team has added the ability to create AI agents for messengers to Yandex AI Studio. Ready-made assistants can be connected to Telegram, Yandex Messenger, and Max, and also placed on websites as a web widget.

AI agents are designed to automate customer support, provide consultations on goods and services, prepare requests for specialists, onboard employees, and search for information in internal documents. When creating an assistant, the user can choose a generative model, connect to internet search and corporate knowledge bases, and configure interaction with external services.

To integrate an agent with a messenger, it is enough to specify the bot's token. Unlike ordinary scenario-based bots, such an assistant independently determines how to perform a task, accesses the necessary sources, and forms a response.

The technology is already being used by organizations in the service sector, logistics, industry, and education. For example, HSE University launched a Telegram bot for students of the Faculty of Computer Science. It uses data from the university's website and internal knowledge base, answers academic and organizational questions, including those about courses and obtaining certificates. According to Yandex B2B Tech, it took about 20 minutes to create the bot without involving developers.
