From September 6 to 8, 2026, Magnit Tech, the technological core of "Magnit," held a tech tour in Suzdal, bringing together representatives of the IT community, media, and company specialists. The program was built around the history of trade and modern technologies currently used in retail.

Suzdal was chosen due to its historical role as a trading center. Participants compared traditional methods of organizing commodity flows with modern systems for managing assortment, logistics, and demand. During the Demo Day, Magnit Tech specialists presented projects and discussed the company's technological infrastructure.
Alexey Chetyrkin, Chief of AI/ML, discussed the application of generative AI in retail, the prospects of anthropomorphic robots, and quantum computing. Andrey Stepanov, Chief ERP Platform Officer, spoke about creating a unified technological core, while Vladimir Drozdetsky, DevOps Team Lead, talked about the infrastructure of the application used by millions of customers.
In addition to the business program, participants interacted with the company's team in an informal setting. One of the highlights of the trip was a hot air balloon flight over Suzdal.
Magnit Tech combines over 260 IT products and projects and more than 800 active systems. Its areas of work include client platforms, machine learning, demand forecasting, logistics, infrastructure, and POS solutions.
