Users have access to a new management tool, as well as enhanced filtering and Kubernetes monitoring capabilities.

"Astra Group" has released an update to the "Astra Monitoring" platform to version 1.6.0. The main change is the amctl utility, which allows managing the system from the terminal and using it in automated scenarios.

Through the CLI, you can query metrics, logs, and traces, configure monitors, and work with incidents. Configurations support YAML format, and data can be received in JSON, which simplifies integration with scripts, CI systems, and AI agents. It also became possible to temporarily disable alert notifications during maintenance work.

The release updated the search for logs and SNMP/IPMI signals: now records can be filtered by various attributes. For traces, hints have been added and filtering has been accelerated. Kubernetes monitoring capabilities have been expanded – users can control cluster resources and separately view nodes, pods, containers, services, and other components.

Other changes include agent installation on Windows, single authorization with Grafana, tag support for monitors, and basic user action auditing. Page search now takes into account transliteration, synonyms, and incorrect keyboard layouts.

The developers also reported fixing dozens of bugs and eliminating a security issue discovered during static code analysis.
