Subtitles appeared on the platform in 2025
The MTS Link platform has implemented Chinese language recognition using artificial intelligence. Now the service converts Chinese speech into text and displays subtitles in 19 languages in real time. The new feature was presented on October 9, 2026, at the Digital Solutions forum.

Previously, the system recognized Russian and English speech. Chinese support will allow the platform to be used in international meetings, webinars, and online courses, as well as when interacting with partners from China.
According to Dmitry Kryukov, head of AI at MTS Link, the development of language technologies is associated with the growth of international cooperation among Russian companies. In the future, the company intends to expand the list of supported languages.
Subtitles appeared on the platform in 2025, and in the first quarter of 2026, real-time translation was added. Currently, the system recognizes Russian, English, and Chinese speech and translates it into 19 languages, including German, Japanese, Arabic, Kazakh, and Uzbek.
During the development of the technology, AI has also learned to process professional terms, abbreviations, and slang more accurately, taking into account the context of previous remarks. Subtitles can be used simultaneously with simultaneous interpretation, choosing the appropriate text and audio channel language independently of each other.
