The device was tested in approximately one hundred scenarios related to mobile network operation.

Specialists from the "MegaFon" Equipment Research and Testing Center have for the first time tested a payment terminal – the UniTodi P8 Bio model.

During the tests, specialists evaluated network connectivity in different bands, switching between base stations, frequencies, and technologies, connection recovery after disconnection, radio module sensitivity, and throughput. The terminal successfully passed the main checks in 3G and LTE networks, including under reduced signal levels and changing network parameters.

Based on the test results, specialists confirmed the stable operation of the device in the intended scenarios. The results were handed over to UniTodi developers for further software improvement and terminal compatibility with networks.

UniTodi P8 Bio runs on Android and supports payment by bank cards, NFC, QR codes, and biometrics. The device is also compatible with the Fast Payment System and the "Volna" service. The model is included in the register of Russian industrial products.

"MegaFon" noted that a stable connection is of particular importance for payment equipment, as it directly affects transaction processing. Independent tests allowed verifying the terminal's operation in various network conditions, including unstable signals and changing connection parameters.
