Before its official release, the version was tested by a number of customers in real operating conditions

ATOL company released Frontol Selfie Pro 2.1.0 – software for self-service checkouts. The developers redesigned user scenarios, expanded integration capabilities with equipment, and updated the technological basis of the product.

The new version features changes to the welcome screen, package addition, and receipt delivery method selection. The numeric keypad has been enlarged, and it is now possible to specify a loyalty card by phone number. Bonus redemption can be confirmed via SMS. The display of the QR code when paying via the Faster Payments System has also been updated, and support for vertical and horizontal interface orientation has been added. For catering establishments, language settings are provided.

Frontol Selfie Pro 2.1.0 received integration with product recognition systems and SmartPlayer for content output, support for multiple barcode scanners via COM ports, and a scale emulator. In addition, shifts can now be automatically opened directly at the checkout.

Changes also affected the Consultant Module. An employee can remotely view the composition of a purchase, simultaneously receive images from two cameras, and control their position.

One of the main changes was the transition from version 1.3.x to a new technology stack. According to the company, this should improve interface performance and simplify further software development.
