The new products protect equipment from power outages and support autonomous operation when power is lost.

Ippon has expanded its line of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) by introducing the Simple series, which includes the Simple 650 and Simple 850 models. The new line-interactive UPS are designed to protect home and office devices, including computers, monitors, routers, and POS equipment, from voltage fluctuations, short circuits, and impulse surges in the power grid.

Both models are equipped with two Euro sockets with battery backup. In the event of a power outage, the Simple 650 can keep connected equipment running for about five minutes at 50% load, while the Simple 850 can do so for approximately three minutes. This is enough time to save data and properly shut down devices.

The UPS operate at an input voltage of 162 to 290 V and are equipped with an automatic voltage regulation (AVR) system, which reduces the number of transfers to battery power during an unstable grid. High-voltage surge protection is also provided. Operation is as simple as possible: the case features a power button and an LED status indicator. The new products are housed in a Tower-format case, rated for 650 VA/360 W and 850 VA/480 W, respectively.
