The solutions received improved data management and protection tools

The Russian IT brand Nerpa has introduced an updated lineup of Nerpa TL tape libraries and autoloaders, designed for data storage and backup in companies of various sizes. The modernization affected entry-level and mid-range models, including the Nerpa TL AL1U and TL AL2U platforms. The new versions feature increased reliability, data protection, and operational efficiency, as well as expanded management and maintenance capabilities.

The top model in the lineup, the Nerpa TL AL707, now supports next-generation LTO-10 cartridges with a native capacity of up to 40 TB. This allows for an increase in archival storage volume without a significant increase in occupied space.

The updated solutions are designed to create secure archives and long-term data storage systems that comply with regulatory requirements. The tape libraries are compatible with Russian backup systems "Kiber Backup" and RuBackup, which are included in the register of domestic software.

The Nerpa TL lineup covers devices of different classes – from compact streamers and autoloaders to enterprise libraries. All equipment undergoes mandatory testing, is accompanied by technical support, and is available with a basic one-year warranty with the possibility of extending it up to three years.
