"Basis", a Russian software developer for dynamic IT infrastructure management (part of RTK-TsOD Group), has confirmed compliance with new requirements for accredited IT companies regarding the implementation of educational programs for training young specialists.

As of January 1, 2026, updated rules for confirming accreditation came into effect for accredited IT companies. According to these rules, companies must allocate a portion of the funds saved through benefits to train personnel for the industry. The main goal of the project is to bring IT education closer to real market challenges, so that university and college students receive not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills that will be useful in their future work.

This year, within the framework of cooperation with 15 partner universities (MIREA, MEI, Stankin, PGUTI, SKFU, Moscow Polytechnic, etc.), it is planned to train over 1,500 students in the DevOps specialist training program. The educational process involves the use of the Basis Dynamix platform, with which students study virtualization, IT infrastructure management, deployment of virtual environments, cluster configuration, and working with services. This format allows students to get acquainted with relevant Russian infrastructure software during their studies and gain experience close to the real tasks of engineering teams.

Also, as part of the program, new training modules are currently being developed in promising IT areas such as cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. Current experts from "Basis" and the PAO "Rostelecom" group of companies are involved in the educational process. They will act as instructors, share practical experience, and analyze industry cases with students.

"For 'Basis', participation in the project became a development of existing work with universities. The company previously supported IT personnel training and developed its own educational initiatives, including the 'DevOps Engineer from Scratch' program. This program helps students master modern approaches to the development, deployment, and maintenance of IT systems. Over four years, 20 thousand students from Russian universities have completed training under this program," noted Vladimir Tatarintsev, Director for Strategic Project Development at "Basis" and Director of Rostelecom IT School.
