The update allows corporate developers to integrate the AI tool faster

Sber has expanded the capabilities of the cloud version of its AI assistant for developers, GigaCode, by adding command line interface (CLI) support. The update is aimed at corporate clients and allows for faster integration of the service into existing development processes without complex deployment and additional infrastructure.

Using the CLI makes it possible to run code generation and analysis, testing, refactoring, and other operations directly from the terminal, as well as embed them into CI/CD pipelines and automate typical tasks. This approach simplifies the use of AI tools in a familiar development environment and reduces implementation costs.

According to Andrey Belevtsev, Senior Vice President of Sberbank, the update reflects companies' demand for different models of IT solution usage – both local and cloud-based.

GigaCode CLI provides access to more than 30 AI models that assist at various stages of software development – from writing and checking code to testing and refactoring. Previously, the command line tool was implemented in the local version of the product, and now it is also available in the cloud format.
