Previously, materials were stored in different sources
The "Modus" CRM platform, developed by the T1 IT holding, has implemented a Docs as Code approach, where documentation is updated simultaneously with the software code. All instructions, function descriptions, and technical materials are now stored in a single system, allowing users to work only with current versions of documents.
As the developers explained, the need for such a solution is confirmed by research results: a significant part of employees regularly spends a lot of time searching for the necessary files and instructions. "Modus" solved this problem by combining previously disparate documentation into a single repository with automatic synchronization and change history preservation.
The platform also supports the creation of separate information portals for different categories of users. Developers get access to technical documentation, business users to work instructions, and clients to system operation materials. This approach simplifies information retrieval, reduces the likelihood of errors when implementing new functions, and facilitates the onboarding of new participants to work with the platform.
