Doctor Web announced the launch of an extended version of the Dr.Web CureIt! healing utility (for Windows). Until June 30, 2026, users are granted free trial access to Dr.Web CureIt! Pro.
The new version offers enhanced features compared to the standard one, including flexible scan settings, exception management, and detailed statistics. To get temporary access (1-day license), you need to fill out a form on the website free.drweb.ru. Existing subscribers can find the distribution in their personal account.
The developer's message notes that from July 1, 2026, the distribution model will change. The classic version of the utility will remain free, while the Pro version will be charged: 10 rubles for one day, 50 rubles for five days, and 100 rubles for ten days.
Doctor Web also emphasizes that the Dr.Web CureIt! utility will cure an infected system once. The utility on the developer's website always includes the latest Dr.Web virus databases, but it does not include an automatic update module.
