RTK-TSOD presented the first market solution for ensuring complete data preservation: the potential of the target niche will exceed 13 billion rubles by 2030

Full-cycle IT service provider RTK-TSOD is launching "Kovcheg" (Ark), a modular software and hardware solution for data storage. The product is designed for organizations that need a guaranteed recovery point for corporate data, capable of surviving any attack on the IT infrastructure.

"Kovcheg" has incorporated all the accumulated RTK-TSOD competencies in data center design, development of IT solutions and cloud services, as well as system integration. It is a software and hardware solution for storing data backups that can be deployed both at RTK-TSOD sites and at the customer's facility — in both cases, "Kovcheg" will be physically and logically separated from the main IT infrastructure. This approach ensures the safety of backups, no matter what happens to the company's IT systems.

Once data is uploaded into the storage, its reverse download is excluded, as are any attempts to modify or delete it. Backups are unavailable even to the most privileged employees of the company and are not intended for daily work. Access to them occurs only in an emergency and only as a result of a joint decision by the top management of the client company.

"Kovcheg" is already available for order and can be adapted to the client's existing infrastructure, taking into account their wishes regarding the level of isolation, business specifics, and budget constraints. In particular, the option with dedicated storage provides complete physical isolation at the hardware level and is primarily intended for the financial sector, government agencies, and other large businesses with strict data preservation requirements. These industries are currently driving the main demand for a new class of solutions for ensuring IT system recovery.

Thus, according to iKS-Consulting's study "Market of IT System Continuity and Recovery Solutions 2026", the volume of the target market for such technologies this year is estimated at 7.3 billion rubles. And with an average annual growth rate of 16.4%, the segment will exceed 13.3 billion rubles by 2030.

Joint use of "Kovcheg" by several customers is also possible, which provides logical separation at the level of FSTEC-certified equipment and software and is suitable for organizations with moderate isolation requirements. Additionally, a "Data Center on Wheels" scenario is available: key systems are replicated in real-time to a container module, which is physically evacuated to a pre-prepared site in an emergency.

"Today, we are essentially opening a new market that is at the intersection of data storage, backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity. Previously, there was a free niche between cloud backups for small businesses and expensive DR complexes for corporations – organizations requiring guaranteed data preservation in the event of the most common threat scenarios. These include physical impact, human factor, and targeted cyberattacks on the company. Our solution was created specifically for this demand. The fundamental difference of the product is an architectural prohibition on deletion. Protection relies on the technically fixed impossibility of destroying a copy from within. This mechanism works more strictly and reliably than administrative storage policies or access rights settings," commented David Martirosov, CEO of RTK-TSOD.
