The Yekaterinburg cluster has become RTK-TSOD's largest operational cluster in the eastern part of the country.
Full-cycle IT service provider RTK-TSOD launched the third phase of its data center in Yekaterinburg, investing approximately 1 billion rubles. The total area of the facility is 3100 sq. m, the total capacity reached 6 MW, and the number of rack spaces increased to 644.
Among the advantages of the site is its location within the city, which provides convenient transport accessibility. More than a dozen telecom operators and a traffic exchange point are already present on the site, which provides opportunities for quick connection and building a fault-tolerant telecom infrastructure.
The third phase includes 214 racks, located in two isolated halls, and is designed for 2 MW of power. The data center complies with Tier III reliability level, equipped with redundant cooling and power supply systems.
Clients are offered equipment rental, cloud services under the "Turbo Oblako" brand, including virtual infrastructure, databases, Kubernetes, mail as a service, and other solutions.
David Martirosov, CEO of RTK-TSOD, noted:
The launch of the third phase of the data center in Yekaterinburg is not only an expansion of our data center park's capacities but also a contribution to the development of the country's digital economy. We see a steady growth in demand for cloud and infrastructure services in the regions and are consistently developing the site, focusing on real market needs. A significant role in this is played by the local team, whose accumulated practical expertise ensures high quality of operation, rapid implementation of new phases, and stable operation of the site as it scales. The Yekaterinburg cluster has become RTK-TSOD's largest operational cluster in the eastern part of the country, and we are already looking at its further development.
