The third Hi-Fi & High End Show, a premium audio and video equipment exhibition, took place in St. Petersburg on March 14-15, 2026. The event was held at the Express Sadovaya Hotel and attracted the attention of the professional community, from manufacturers to distributors and retailers.
The exhibition confirmed its status as a major industry event: in addition to the professional community, it was visited by music lovers and connoisseurs of high-quality sound. In just two days, the venue was visited by 3,790 people.
The exposition was located in 50 exhibition rooms and 5 halls, which allowed participants to present solutions to partners and potential clients in detail.
At the exhibition, more than 150 global brands presented the latest Hi-Fi and High End technology developments. 16 leading Russian companies demonstrated their new products, indicating the growth of local production. A separate area with vinyl records attracted collectors and an audience that appreciates analog sound.
The organizers focused on combining educational and entertainment formats — a total of 15 events were held. The emphasis on B2B was evident in the themes of the key sessions:
- The round table "Russian Manufacturers of Hi-Fi and High End Audio. Current State and Prospects" became the central business discussion. Participants discussed key trends in the Russian market and strategies for promoting domestic brands.
- Artyom Ivanov's (founder of AVIMESTO) lecture on trends in multi-channel sound in home theaters touched upon technological vectors influencing product lines of manufacturers and requests from installers.
- The discussion "How to find your sound without relying on brands" showed the growing interest of the audience in individual audio systems. Top bloggers writing about music and acoustics took part in the discussion.
- Mikhail Kucherenko's (author of the "StereoPravda" program) speech was devoted to the principles of choosing audio equipment — an important topic for buyers in the premium segment.
- The program culminated in a speech by Mikhail Borzenkov, the country's chief audiophile, dedicated to the ethics and psychology of audiophile life.
- The business program also included entertaining Hi-Fi quizzes. The most knowledgeable quiz participants became owners of valuable prizes from participating companies — this added interactivity and strengthened ties between guests and brands.
The list of participants reflects the structure of the market:
- international brands (including partners Canton, Focal powered by Naim, Phaze Audio);
- Russian manufacturers (KENNERTON AUDIO EQUIPMENT, S.A.LAB, RADIOTEHNIKA and others);
- distributors and retailers (Pult.ru as a retail partner, Dr.Head and others).
This combination allows you to establish direct contacts between manufacturers, wholesale players and retail — the basis for building supply chains.
Hi-Fi & High End Show 2026 demonstrated several trends that are important for the B2B audience:
- The growing role of Russian brands: local companies are announcing new products on a par with global players, increasing competition and expanding the range for partners.
- Educational formats as part of a business strategy: lectures and discussions have become an important part of the business program, allowing participants to exchange experiences and respond quickly to market demands.
- Interest in individual audio systems: a discussion about choosing sound without reference to brands showed a shift in consumer focus — this opens up new opportunities for customizing offers.
- Stable demand for analog sound: interest in vinyl confirms the stability of this segment of the premium market and provides a guideline for the development of related services and distribution.
The organizer of the exhibition, MIDEXPO, showed that an event of this format remains an effective platform for networking, finding partners and analyzing industry shifts. For companies operating in the Hi-Fi/High End segment, the exhibition became an opportunity to discuss current industry challenges and identify growth points in cooperation.
