Aerodisk, a part of Aquarius, has announced the new Engine AQ 460 storage system with high performance and scalability.
The model features four Intel Xeon Scalable processors, a PCIe 4.0 bus, and supports up to 608 drives, including up to 48 NVMe SSDs. The built-in basket accommodates up to 24 SAS SSD or NL-SAS drives, with a hybrid configuration using SSDs and HDDs possible. It includes built-in 4 x 10/25 Gbps ports and up to 8 slots for expansion adapters. The maximum configuration includes 28 Ethernet 10/25 Gbps ports, 12 100 Gbps ports, or 24/12 Fibre Channel 16/32 Gbps ports.
The new version of Vostok 6 software provides a performance increase of up to 30%. Shipments to corporate customers started in Q1 2026.
