Plans are in place to create a line of fully domestic robots with cyber-secure software.
Russian developer and manufacturer Technored and Astra Group have successfully completed the phase of transferring software for industrial robots to the Astra Linux operating system.
The developers have successfully tested a prototype of the Reds Technored visual programming system, running on Astra Linux Desktop. The solution is designed for automated object movement and has already demonstrated operability in basic scenarios, including sending commands and exchanging data with an industrial manipulator in real time.
At the current stage, a visual programming system compatible with the entire line of Reds collaborative robots has been adapted to work on Astra Linux. The next step will be the adaptation of low-level control systems and real-time components. Anton Shmakov, Technical Director of Astra Group, noted that the next stage will be the transfer of the entire digital infrastructure of Technored to the technological stack of Astra Group.
