A solution for automating "one-step" tip acceptance in public catering establishments and restaurants — without the use of QR codes or third-party applications.
The OpenTips application provides simultaneous cashless payment of the bill and tips in one action. When paying, the waiter enters the payment amount on the bank terminal (or the cost is automatically loaded thanks to integration with the cash register software), the guest selects the tip amount, the total bill amount with tips is formed, after which the bill and tips are paid with a card in one action.
OpenTips includes personal accounts for the waiter and restaurateur, where employees can manage their profile, view statistics on tips, average indicators and see the conversion, and management can add and dismiss employees, configure tip distribution rules, track payments and receive analytics.
Technically, the solution relies on Somers terminals, integration with Somers.market cash register software (formerly Subtotal) and other applications at the client's request, as well as the Somers.platform acquiring portal.
