Kaspersky Lab has introduced the commercial version of Kaspersky NGFW, a next-generation firewall designed to protect organizations from cyber threats. Kaspersky NGFW uses its own Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (IDPS). According to tests, the Detection Rate exceeds 95%.
One of the key features of Kaspersky NGFW is its own antivirus engine, which uses artificial intelligence technologies. In addition, Kaspersky NGFW supports a fault-tolerant Active-Passive cluster and has developed its own KHCP (Kaspersky High-availability Cluster Protocol) protocol, which supports flexible cluster operation scenarios.
Kaspersky NGFW provides integration with other security solutions. Centralized management is carried out through a single Open Single Management Platform console — for the commercial version of the solution, its interface has been completely redesigned.
According to the developers, Kaspersky NGFW is designed for medium and large companies (1000 or more devices) with network infrastructure of any complexity and load, including those falling under regulatory policies in the field of information security. The solution will be relevant for organizations from the state and financial sectors, retail, healthcare, transport and education, as well as telecommunications.
