Russian IT vendor Inferit, part of the Softline Group, has entered a new format for itself. The Inferit Mercury model is designed to meet the needs of organizations whose employees require mobile devices with a large display for comfortable work in the office.
So, in addition to the already familiar Inferit laptops with a diagonal of 14.1 inches, the first Inferit laptop with a screen diagonal of 15.6 inches has become available. Inferit Mercury carries Intel Core i5-1334U or i7-1280P processors, a 512 GB SSD, and 16 GB or 32 GB of DDR4 RAM.
The laptop weighs 1.7 kg. The laptop case is made of aluminum and plastic. The screen opens up to 175°, the keyboard is backlit, and the 2 MP camera is covered by a shutter. A 69.3 W·h (6000 mAh) battery provides up to 7 hours of battery life.
The device supports wireless communication technologies: Wi-Fi 802.11ax and Bluetooth 5.1. There is an Ethernet RJ45 port for wired connection to the network, as well as 3 USB Type-A (including 1 USB 3.2 Gen2), 1 USB Type-C and Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1 for connecting external displays, an audio input, and a 6-in-1 card reader.
The device is compatible with Windows 10/11, Linux. The laptop can be supplied at the customer's request with the pre-installed OS "МСВСфера", which is included in the register of Russian software of the Ministry of Digital Development.
The Inferit Mercury laptop is already available for both corporate and retail customers.
