The Russian IT company «Basis», specializing in the development of software for dynamic infrastructure and virtual workplaces, has summarized the results of 2024. According to management reporting, the company's revenue increased by 1.5 times, exceeding 4.5 billion rubles, which became a new record for the company. All key business areas demonstrated significant growth, including B2B contracts, the implementation of the «Basis» ecosystem, and the expansion of the partner network.
Key achievements of 2024
- Growth of the client base: the number of new customers increased by 30%.
- Expansion of implementations: more than 160 projects were implemented to introduce the «Basis» ecosystem (an increase of 2.2 times compared to 2023).
- Expansion of the partner network: the number of partners increased by 90%, exceeding 150 organizations throughout Russia.
- Market leadership: according to analysts at «TMT Consulting», «Basis» occupies 36% of the Russian server and VDI virtualization market, ahead of its nearest competitor by more than 20%.
Key projects and implementations
In 2024, «Basis» implemented large projects in the financial and telecommunications sectors:
- VTB Bank – transferred the VDI infrastructure to Basis Workplace, 65,000 virtual workplaces deployed.
- Gazprombank – implemented the «Basis» ecosystem, including Basis Dynamix, Basis Virtual Security and Migration Assistant, and is also testing Basis Guard and Basis Virtual Protect.
- Telecom operator T2 – concluded a three-year contract for the use of «Basis» software. The implementation started with 700 physical servers, with subsequent scaling to 4000 servers across the country.

During the year, the «Basis» development team implemented more than 2300 improvements to its ecosystem. The company strengthened the implementation of approaches to secure software development (SSSD), and also optimized product certification processes, including Basis Dynamix Enterprise, Basis Workplace and Basis Virtual Security.

- Acquisition of «RUSTEK» company – this significantly improved the Basis Cloud Control product.
- Partnership with Angie – joint development of a domestic solution for software-defined networks (SDN), similar to VMware NSX, with market entry in 2025.

- The company's staff grew by 40%, while the share of IT specialists increased to 86%.
- Three specialized courses launched for administering the company's products in conjunction with the KUDITS training center.
