EKF, a manufacturer of electrical equipment and developer of specialized software, has announced the beta version of the EKF Connect Home smart home mobile application for iOS and Android. The new application will combine all smart home devices from EKF and ePRO24 Home controllers into a single interface.
Now, ePRO 24 Home smart controllers can be managed like other smart home devices. The location of the application's servers on Yandex Cloud facilities improves reliability and response time when managing ePRO24 Home controllers.
The EKF Connect Home application enhances safety and comfort: in the event of sensor activation and motion detection by cameras, users will be able to receive notifications via a bot in Telegram.
Users of the new EKF Connect Home application will get a beautiful and user-friendly interface created from scratch. The completely redesigned application interface features a more accurate weather widget that pulls data from Yandex Weather.
The beta version of the application already supports the main types of smart devices: lamps, luminaires, LED strips, sockets and extension cords, cameras, zigbee hub, sensors and siren, ePRO24 Home controllers.
«EKF always takes into account feedback from users of the brand's products. We released a beta version to get feedback from partners and interested people during testing the application on various mobile devices, in different usage scenarios. Later, we will also add support for devices such as smart remotes, thermoregulators, basic ePRO24 controllers and brand novelties to the application. We will announce the release of the final version of the new application and what other functions will be added after the beta testing phase is completed.
