ACM is part of the Astra Server Core platform, along with the Astra Linux server OS and the ALD Pro directory service
Astra Group has released ACM 1.7 — a new version of the configuration manager for centralized management of a fleet of corporate computers. The update includes support for devices running Microsoft Windows, and the tools for configuring operations on computers have also changed.

ACM 1.7 collects inventory data from Windows devices, allowing administrators to view information about the entire fleet of equipment in a single console. This allows, in particular, to track the number of computers on Windows and domestic OS during migration. Previously, ACM supported Astra Linux and a number of other Linux distributions, including ALT Linux, RedOS, Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora Linux, and Alma Linux.
Instead of profiles for managing device groups, scenarios are now used. These are sequences of actions — for example, software installation, OS update, or script execution. Steps can be combined, rearranged, and copied to create typical operations. Scenarios work on supported Linux distributions and Windows.
In addition, ACM received user inventory. Based on it, dynamic groups of computers can be formed and devices assigned to a specific employee can be found. The internal interaction of ACM services in version 1.7 was also switched to HTTPS.
