With backup power and SORM cluster

RTK-TsOD provided the federal cloud and network solutions provider EdgeCenter with a site for hosting high-load infrastructure. Hundreds of server and network devices have been installed on the data center premises, including a SORM cluster with a special access regime.

For the project, RTK-TsOD prepared racks with four independent power lines instead of the standard two. EdgeCenter also uses redundant data storage. The presence of a large number of telecom operators on site allows the company to organize backup routes, reduce latency, and optimize traffic transmission costs.

Separate requirements were imposed on the placement of SORM equipment. Additional security measures were organized for it: individual access control to racks, environmental monitoring, certified safes, and equipment sealing.

According to company representatives, the cooperation has been ongoing for several years. During this time, the parties have implemented several infrastructure projects aimed at stable service operation and reducing the risk of unplanned downtime.
