Sber has updated the GigaIDE Pro development environment, focusing on data processing and performance. The update was presented by Andrey Belevtsev, Senior Vice President, Head of the Technology Development block at Sberbank, on the eve of the GigaConf conference for businesses.

The new version consumes less RAM and has improved tools for frontend and backend development. The environment has expanded capabilities for working with large data arrays, forecasting, and automating analytical tasks.

In total, ten new tools have been added to GigaIDE Pro. Among them are extended support for database management systems, styling tools, integration with message queues, remote Python development, and working with Jupyter notebooks.

Developers also added named licenses in addition to competitive ones. This option allows using Pro features without a constant connection to a local licensing server, which is relevant when working outside the corporate network or with an unstable internet connection.
