The solution aims to reduce the risks of IT infrastructure downtime by early detection of potential failures.

Red Soft announced the release of a new product, RBD Monitor, designed for automated monitoring of server and database status in high-load systems.

The main goal of the tool is to ensure high data availability and reduce the load on administrators. The product provides continuous performance monitoring and automates anomaly detection. The first release supports Red Database and Firebird DBMS.

The operating principle of RBD Monitor is based on continuous collection of metrics from the database without affecting its performance. Data is aggregated in real time and displayed in a web interface, allowing analysis at the server level, individual databases, or specific queries. Upon detecting anomalies, the system automatically sends notifications.

The tool offers multi-level monitoring:

  • Database and query analysis: tracking transactions, database size, top queries by duration and resource intensity.
  • DBMS control: monitoring CPU load, memory, log analysis, and locks.
  • Server and network monitoring: tracking CPU load, disk space, network activity, and errors.
