There is no need to manually collect data from a corporate source, perform calculations, and draw graphs.
The Yandex B2B Tech team announced a significant update to its AI assistant called "Neuroanalyst," integrated into the DataLens business intelligence system. Now, the agent can independently work with "raw" corporate data, not just analyze ready-made reports.
As explained by Yandex, previously users had to pre-build dashboards, and "Neuroanalyst" only helped interpret them, finding insights and suggesting formulas. The updated version allows asking questions in natural language. For example, one can ask: "How did manager Ivanov's revenue change in Samara over the last month?" The AI agent will independently find relevant information in the corporate source, process it, and present it in the form of clear visualizations with conclusions. The work is carried out within the access rights configured for each employee in DataLens.
In addition, a new widget has appeared in Yandex DataLens, which displays tips from the AI assistant directly on the dashboard. It is enough to give the agent instructions once, and it will automatically analyze the data and show its current status each time the dashboard is opened. This makes analytics accessible to non-professionals, for example, allowing a warehouse operator to quickly assess the status of orders.
In future versions, "Neuroanalyst" will learn to help in finding the right dashboards and answer questions about working with DataLens, using the service documentation and the company's internal knowledge base.
