The new product is designed for organizations that already use Rutoken devices for document signing and wish to expand their usage scenarios.

Aktiv company introduced the Rutoken Pass app, which provides passwordless authentication to web services and corporate systems using Rutoken EDS 3.0 devices with Passkeys technology.

The app is available on iOS, iPadOS, Android, and macOS. The combination of Rutoken EDS 3.0 and Rutoken Pass allows for the use of the most secure strong authentication methods based on PKI and FIDO2/Passkey.

The developer highlights such features of Rutoken Pass as the ability to use access keys on various devices, secure storage of keys with access protection via biometric functions or PIN code, as well as convenient and secure access to accounts, reducing the risks of phishing and data compromise. In addition, PC authentication via QR code is possible when using Rutoken Pass on a mobile device.

The application can be used for passwordless login to web services, strengthening the protection of corporate accounts, and in projects for the development of IAM infrastructure. Rutoken Pass is available for testing without a license and allows working with one account immediately after installation.
